Reducing Paid Support
'Reducing paid support and improving the support you offer - helping the people you support become Citizens' (1 day). This course will look at how support providers can reduce the paid support their service users receive through exploring community connections, natural support, voluntary support, different types of night support, assistive technology, time banking, flatter levels of management and changes to staff working arrangements.
Audience - Commissioners of support (Local Authority or Primary Care Trust), residential care providers (learning disabilities, mental health or older people), domiciliary care providers.
