Starting With The Right Planning
'Starting with the right planning - service design and working policy' (2 days). This course teaches you the importance of using person-centred approaches from the start when developing a service, or supporting a new person. On the first day you will learn about assessing a person’s needs (including housing and support needs) in a very personalised way involving those people that know the person best (Service Design) and on the second day you will learn how to turn the information you have collected into a living, detailed, workable plan for support workers to follow (working policy).
Audience – Residential care providers, domiciliary care providers, supported providers, commissioners.
